Accountability and Constant Improvement are two of the many values Wish Farms believes in and practices.
I had the pleasure of touring Wish Farms in Plant City, FL yesterday.
The real treat wasn’t my strawberry shortcake which they graciously provided but it was seeing how a successful company competes in a tough business that is affected by weather, international competition, pests, and more.
Accountability
Every carton of strawberries that is sold can be traced back to a certain farm, location on that farm, and the actual person who picked that strawberry. Wow! This not only holds people accountable for the work but also is a way of congratulating them for a job well done.

Constant Improvement
Wish Farms is the only producer of strawberries in FL that uses a scientific system to gauge the accuracy of where to bloom and at what time the strawberry will bloom. This helps their customers because they are not just selling on speculation and are viewed as a resource by their customer.
Brand Loyalty
Wish Farms is creating a strong brand in the marketplace where customers are only buying Wish Farms berries.
